Something magical happens when a group of volunteers come together to perform simple acts of kindness. We accepting applicants for our next team trip on April 2 - 11, 2024.
Different Ways You Can Serve.
1) We assist in providing Palliative Care to families in the most impoverished regions of Sosua and Puerto Plata. We have partnered with a pair of community members who have already been offering support in the form of food, medical supplies, companionship, and solace. If you are able to offer your smile, embrace others, pray, and assistance in distributing food and medication, we would greatly appreciate your involvement.
2) Provide Simple Labor Skills such as mixing cement, painting, patching walls, and serving along side our local builders where needed. We build homes for the elderly and single moms. The foundation work is done by our local team and then we come along and help with the finished product. No heavy lifting is required, just basic labor support.
3) Medical Care - if you are a medical professional, dentist, doctor, or nurse we need you. We try and put on at least 3-4 days of medical clinics over 8 days. If you are skilled in this area of service we would love for you to partner with us as we partner with the local residents and health departments.
4) Do you love to work with children? Let us know what you love to do and we can find a place for you.
5) Anyone with handyman skills with doors, windows, plumbing, and electrical is needed.
6) If you can’t travel with us, consider donating to our projects. We promise you it will put the biggest smile on the faces of those we serve.
Come Travel With Us:
All trips are all-inclusive except for airfare: All meals, transportation, and accommodations are provided in the cost. This is a family-friendly environment. Our team ages range from 10 yrs old to mid-'70s. The trip length will include 8 night stay in the D.R. The cost this year will be $1600 USD plus airfare per person.
